Michelle Whitmore - E-Business & Marketing Consultant

I went to school in Marton and University in Palmerston North where I
gained a BAHons in Humanities, then a post-graduate Diploma in Business
Administration.
After Uni I spent a year at Nga Tawa School in my home town of Marton
in the Rangitikei, researching and writing the 100 year history for
their centennial celebrations in 1991. After the book was published I
headed to London for my OE and stayed about three years.
When I got home to Palmy in 1994, I was employed by EziBuy, first as
their Quality Manager, then their Distribution Centre Manager and then
as their Marketing Manager. Four years later I moved to Tauranga, still
with EziBuy and helped them launch the brand into Australia.
After the arrival of my third child, I set up Seeit Marketing and a
year later was joined by Leanne and Brian and together we established
Seeit Promotions.
Zeald came into the picture after I’d researched the market for one of
our clients, looking for a website company. Zeald appeared to be the
best by a long way, and in time that perception proved to be accurate.
I liked them so much that we ended up buying the Bay of Plenty
franchise and on the back of that success, have now added the Waikato
one.
Outside of work, I’m kept busy with my three children (now aged 12, 11
and 8) and enjoy running, reading novels (particularly New Zealand
literature during the year, and chick lit during the summer holidays)
and travel.
