Here's the answers to questions we're most often asked
If the question on your mind isn't answered here, please don't hesitate to call us.
Q. Will it cost more to brand in more colours?
A. Generally yes, because the more colours there are, the
greater the setup costs. There are some exceptions though so talk to us
about it when you place your order.
Q. We want a giveaway that's really unique - something no-one else has got. Can you find something for us?
A. Yes! This is one of our specialties actually. Talk to us for more information.
Q. We want a particular shape of cup/pen/hat/keyring etc - can you have something custom-made for us?
A. Sure can. We can do anything. Truly. Talk to us today.
Q. When will I receive my order?
A. Typically, orders are turned around in seven working days
though it's best to allow ten to fifteen. If your deadline is looming
and you're really in a fix, we have been known to pull some
extraordinary feats of brilliance :)
Q. Can I buy products without any branding?
A. Sure can, and we can often despatch the same day.
Q. Can you despatch product to lots of different places?
A. Yes! Just send us your recipients list and we'll take care of the rest.
Q. What happens if there's something wrong with my order when it arrives?
A. By the time you receive the product you've often seen a
sample and you'll have signed off on any branding or artwork so
hopefully there aren't any surprises there. If the order is incorrect or
the product is faulty in any way though, we will replace it
immediately. We're not happy until you're happy!
Q. Can you store products for us?
A. Yes! In fact we have a whole service that revolves around adding convenience to your storage and ordering. Click here to visit our Seeit Corporate page and you can get all the details on this popular service.
Q. We have a marketing campaign / new
product launch coming up, and there are so many promo items to choose
from I don't know where to start. Can you help us save time by narrowing
down some options?
A. Ahh this is what we do best! We get this request
such a lot - let us know what your intentions are, and what your budget is, and we'll come back to
you with some great ideas within 48 hours.
Q. Is there a minimum order quantity?
A. Sometimes - it depends on the product, so unfortunately there's no straight answer for this one.
Q. How do I know which shirt will be best?
A. A good place to start is to consider whether the shirts will be worn mostly indoors, or outdoors.
Polyester fabrics are popular because they're easy-care and hold their
colour longer, but when worn outside this fabric can pill.
Poly/cotton fabrics are hard wearing. The polyester component helps with
fading and shrinking and the cotton adds to the comfort.
Cotton is very comfortable but if you mainly work outdoors and have
chosen a dark colour, it will fade more quickly than poly/cotton.
Q. Why do clothes fade?
A. Mostly because of exposure to the sun, and washing
methods. It's always best to avoid drying garments (especially dark
colours) in direct sunlight if you can, and it's important to try and
use washing powders without bleach as this will also affect the colour
fading.
Q. What branding method should I use for our clothing?
A. Embroidery is ideal for higher value garments like
corporate shirts and polos. Embroidery looks really smart and will stand
up to frequent wash and wear.
Transfer and screen printing are great options for promotional T-shirts,
training gear and highly detailed logos. It's also cost effective for
large volume product runs.
Q. What does GSM stand for?
A. GSM is a unit of weight and stands for grams per square meter. Here are some typical examples:
T-shirts vary in weight and depending on the use you can select from 150gsm upwards.Polo shirts can also vary with 210gsm being a popular weight. Polar fleece starts at around 280gsm which is a lightweight fleece and goes to approx 450gsm heavy weight fleece.
